Huanglongbing Confirmed in California

On Friday, March 30, the California Department of Food and Agriculture and the USDA announced that the citrus disease huanglongbing (HLB), also referred to as citrus greening, had been confirmed in a lemon/pummelo tree in a residential neighborhood in Los Angeles County.  An intensive survey of local citrus trees and psyllids is underway to determine the extent of the infestation.
